I believe Apple made phone manufacturers rethink the way they made phones when they released the iPhone. No longer is the fact that the phone having a X mega pixel camera a selling point. It is now all about apps and other services the phone can provide. Being able to make and receive calls is almost secondary.

So whenever I see a headline such as “iPhone killer” I always check to see what the phone does better than the iPhone.
