As we all know, data security is, and always be, a hot target for illegal and dangerous activity within the present business market. Companies with secure software and data are constantly looking for the most secure ways to use data freely, without the security worries hanging over their head.

Blackberry seems to have stepped up to this with the release of the new Operating system version 6, available on their new BlackBerry devices. So much so that the US government have certified it with a FIPS 140-2 certificate, meaning it achieves the high level of security necessary for computer related equipment. The standard is widely used by government agencies, regulated industries, and other organizations that store and send data dealing with sensitive information.

Read more on this, and what it could mean for you and your data here: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1009_3-20024236-83.html
