What is IT Strategy?
An IT Strategy is what guides the development of your infrastructure. Making sure it supports the needs of your business and can adapt to them.
With a well planned and implemented strategy in place, your IT system will be the powerful enabler that you want it to be. Providing ready access to information and services, speeding up communication and facilitating collaboration.

What does it cover?
Your IT Strategy will lay down guidelines for the development and delivery of your IT services, encompassing:
- Hardware and software components for the processing, storage and

- Information security
- Other elements that turn the system into a service - e.g. training and documentation
These guidelines should be clearly understood by company management and carefully followed by staff, if they are to be fully effective.
