As an authorised partner of Asigra, the world’s leading online backup solution, Fifosys is one of the few companies in the UK to offer its own data backup solution with fully managed support.

The Asigra software is customised to our clients needs, allowing a flexible approach to how we store your data. This data is stored on our SAN and NAS hardware within the Fifosys Fortress data centre. Unlike other providers, we ensure that files are de-duplicated, so if someone sends a 10mb file to 10 people in the company, there is 100mb stored – just one. Although we support clients with tape backup systems, increasingly they are turning to us for an online solution, recognising the inherent risks associated with reliance on a junior member of staff to change the tapes and keep them safe.

An online backup solution means that the backup is assured. We offer a Continuous Data Protection service, meaning incremental backups are taken so if data is lost, it will be minutes worth, rather than days or weeks.

We will provide reports showing how much data your company is backing up on a monthly basis, and you only pay for the amount of data you are storing.
