Our IT Policy
- a document for us, for you, for your staff
Our IT Policy is a document that any members of your staff
who use your IT system are asked to read and sign.
It details how they should (and shouldn't) use the equipment
and the programmes on it.
The policy has been designed to:
> Make sure all your systems are as close to standard
configuration as possible, to reduce disruption
if equipment needs replacing
> Ensure your staff are working within the law
and within your own policies, and allow you
to readily identify any system abuse
> Minimise the risk of damage to hardware,
software or data
> Avoid the infringement of any copyright
or licensing laws
> Help protect your company and your staff
from litigation.
From your point of view, it should result in
cost savings and increased productivity,
by encouraging your people to use their IT equipment properly and responsibly.
For us, it’s an important first step towards safeguarding the system.
We have a standard policy template, which is appropriate to most clients.
But it can be customised to suit your particular circumstances and requirements.
