Daily maintenance checks keep a close eye on:
> Back-up status
> Server event logs, to ensure security and performance levels are maintained
> Available disk space, and the size of your mail database and associated files
> The application of software updates (e.g. anti-virus, Windows)
> Firmware upgrades to hardware peripherals (e.g. firewalls, routers, UPS)
As ever, the Fifosys Service Desk is the instantly accessible point of contact for any incidents or queries, and keeps comprehensive records of all events and actions.
Using remote monitoring and management technology, we keep the need for on-site intervention to a minimum. And when we do need to carry out maintenance or updating, we’ll do it out-of-hours, to avoid any disruption.
Fifosys currently supports over 200 servers, with enough back-up space to last us several years! Your data will be centralised and then backed up on a daily basis. Monitoring ensures this is 100% successful.
We’ll agree a maintenance time allowance with you, based on the number of devices and daily checks involved. This will include both remote and on-site maintenance (so we have a mutual interest in getting things right). Our rigorous reporting system allows both parties to keep a watch on your actual time usage, to make sure your allowance stays in line with the changing demands of your business.
If you wish, we can also take responsibility for applications or services provided by third party suppliers.
