Abbots Care

Sarah McMahon, Finance Director at Abbots Care, comments (nov 2018):

"Myself and 2 colleagues attended the Cyber Security Awareness Training delivered by James from Fifosys in November. We found the session extremely informative and very helpful in determining the risks faced by our business in the current climate. The training was delivered to a small group, enabling us to ask questions specific to our business and have them answered directly. James was very knowledgeable about the subject and we took away several lessons which we could implement immediately, and work on a plan to ensure our business is robust for the future. I was particularly shocked around the impact of staff inadvertently giving away company information, and the dangers that this could lead to. We have already put some new processes in place to accommodate this.
I would recommend this training to all companies to identify the risks around social engineering, as the impact to a business can be immense. Fifosys delivered it in an informal yet informative way, and I would not hesitate to go back to them for further information."

Course Description

Fifosys have acted as the IT department for Abbots Care since 2017, and in 2018, launched a comprehensive Social Engineering Awareness Training program program designed to reduce threats associated with social engineering attacks. We evaluate the current knowledge level of staff by testing them against several social engineering campaigns. We then run through results and work with Abbots Care to prioritise training activities. The training can take the form of short 'bite-size' training videos, online assessments, face-to-face training or a combination of all three. We also provide continuous engagement to maximise uptake and ensure staff are kept up to date with new threats.

Results/Benefits

Once the initial campaign has ran, all results will be presented and discussed with you. A dashboard is available showing which users interacted with the simulated emails and what level of interaction they had. I.e. did they click the link, did they then enter details, how often did they click on the email etc.

You will be granted full access to the dash board so you can regularly review progress.
