Wall London

Our client

  • Wall London is a retailer of exclusive clothing and accessories for women. Established in 1997, the company began life as a boutique in Notting Hill, London before expanding into mail order in 1999, and e-commerce in 2000.
  • Fifosys deliver consultancy and IT services to support the growth from a single premise boutique to a multi-channel retailer sales in excess of £5m and database of over 90,000 customers

Fifosys has been instrumental in aiding the successful growth of our business. The hardware and systems which they have implemented have underpinned and safe guarded our expansion, and their support continues to be invaluable.

The challenge

  • As with all successful businesses, Wall London has listened to its customers and expanded its sales channels to suit. For mail order, this meant a valuable and growing database that needed to be protected and for e-commerce, a software system with maximum resilience.

  • Fifosys’ challenge was to ensure Wall Luxury Essentials was equipped with the right IT solutions to protect its assets and provided with the right consultancy to enable the seamless growth of the business.

Our solution

  • In 2010, Fifosys’ first recommendation was to implement cloud computing to protect the critical business systems – including the e-commerce software without which online orders could not be processed. The failing database server was replaced to safeguard customer information crucial to the mail order channel.
  • As Wall London expanded and moved their head office, Fifosys performed a full IT audit to facilitate the move, with on-going support to ensure their IT infrastructure was aligned with their vision for the business.
  • In 2014, an upgrade to Wall London’s POS system necessitated a full server upgrade, which was completed successfully and with minimal disruption and downtime.

The benefits

  • Wall London has benefited from Fifosys’ expertise throughout a critical period of growth and development. This has ensured a secure, reliable IT infrastructure is in place with centralised storage of all business data, appropriate control permissions, trusted data backup and enhanced data security.
  • Wall London is now poised for further growth with a robust and scalable platform upon which future applications can be built to keep pace with consumer demand.
