What's Hot in 2018

What's Hot in 2018

Happy New Year Everyone!

Hope you all enjoyed the holidays spending time with those you love!

All of us at Fifosys would like to wish you all every success and happiness for 2018!

Below are the hot topics to prepare for in the year ahead:

Cyber Essentials

Protect your company from modern cyber threats and demonstrate your commitment to cyber security. Get certified. Reassure your customers your IT is secure against cyber attack. Attract new business by ensuring your cyber security measures are up to scratch. Demonstrate acute understanding of your current cyber security level as some government contracts require cyber essentials certification.

GDPR was approved by the EU Parliament on April 2016. It will come in to play 20 days after its publication in the EU Official Journal and will be directly applicable in all member states two years after this date. The official date is 25th May 2018, by which time any non-compliant organisation will face hefty penalties.

Office 365

Fifosys are now rolling out Microsoft Office 365 workshops every Friday for all our existing and prospective clients. These workshops are free of charge so get in touch to reserve you spot!

Next Gen Firewalls

Protecting your business is critical in the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape. Next Gen Firewalls have all the traditional firewall features but with updated key functionalities like intrusion prevention, SSL and SSH inspection, deep-packet inspection, reputation-based malware detection and application awareness.

Centrally Managed Cloud Networks

The ability to view networked clients and their bandwidth consumption as well as applications across all sites will help to optimise the performance levels of your staff and will provide you with deep visibility and insight from any device whenever you need from wherever you are.

What we know for sure is business data is growing and will continue to grow. How you manage your data will come under increased scrutiny with May 25th 2018 looming when GDPR officially comes in to ruling.
