Junior Account Manager

The role
We are seeking a Junior Account Manager to work alongside a team of experienced Account Managers, acting as the voice of our clients and strengthening long-term relationships. You will help clients maximise value from our services through regular engagement, strategic guidance and a strong understanding of our products and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders through regular on-site, in-person and virtual meetings.
- Understand client requirements and recommend tailored solutions with support from the pre-sales team.
- Act as the client advocate, ensuring needs are communicated and prioritised internally.
- Drive contract renewals and support retention by identifying growth and cross-sell opportunities.
- Coordinate feedback between clients and internal teams to improve service delivery.
- Provide updates on new products and services relevant to each client.
- Support marketing campaigns, newsletters and client communications.
- Collaborate on business development and opportunity assessment.
- Support procurement activities including sales orders, contracts and proposal drafting.
- Assist clients in achieving Cyber Essentials and maintaining security documentation.
- Support GDPR compliance tasks and documentation updates.
Objectives & success criteria
- Maintain client satisfaction scores of 90% or above.
- Support an annual contract renewal rate of 95%.
- Deliver 10% annual revenue growth across assigned accounts.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date account plans and risk registers.
- Recommend and implement a minimum of five upgrades or enhancements annually.
- Ensure seamless service transitions with full compliance to client expectations.
- Conduct regular business reviews with insights and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate internal system updates and meeting notes.
Skills & experience
- Experience in B2B account management or client services.
- Experience in an MSP environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence discussing financial and pricing information.
- Proactive, energetic and client-focused approach.
- Familiarity with IT systems and managed services.
