Fifosys Becomes a CyberSmart Advanced Partner: What That Means for Our Customers
As we enter 2026 and move into another year that’s sure to be packed full of cyber threats, attacks and breaches, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus remain a foundational part of how many organisations in the UK manage that risk, demonstrate their compliance, and access contracts that depend on baseline security assurance.
With that said, we’re pleased to confirm that, based on our delivery and performance in 2025, Fifosys has been promoted to Advanced Partner status within the CyberSmart Partner Programme. This places us in the third of four partner tiers, reserved for organisations that consistently deliver CyberSmart services at scale and meet higher operational and assurance standards.
More importantly, this recognition reflects our existing support for customers today.
What is a CyberSmart Advanced Partner
According to CyberSmart, the Advanced Partner tier is designed for organisations that are serious about scaling their cyber security offering and delivering “Complete Cyber Confidence” to customers. It comes with stricter criteria around delivery quality, revenue commitment, and certification capability, including Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
Advanced Partners also receive enhanced access to CyberSmart support, training, and advisory resources, allowing for faster issue resolution and closer collaboration.
What this means in practice for our customers
For customers using Fifosys to achieve or maintain Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, this change doesn’t alter how we work. It reinforces it.
Advanced Partner status gives us:
• Direct access to dedicated CyberSmart account and support resources
• Prioritised support for assessments and escalations
• Early visibility of platform updates and service changes
• Closer involvement in advisory and feedback programmes
All of this helps us deliver assessments more smoothly, resolve issues more quickly, and support customers through certification with fewer delays.
Why this matters for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials is often viewed as a checkbox requirement. In practice, the quality of delivery, guidance, and remediation support can significantly affect both outcomes and timelines.
CyberSmart’s own partner documentation highlights that organisations with Cyber Essentials are significantly less likely to claim on cyber insurance, reinforcing its value as a baseline security control rather than a compliance or tick-box exercise - a point we regularly emphasise.
Our role is to ensure that customers don’t just achieve their certifications and then move on to the next thing. We want them to understand what it means for their wider security posture and introduce these principles moving forward.
Validation, not a change in direction
We use CyberSmart to deliver Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus for our customers, and this promotion reflects the scale, consistency, and quality of our work over the past year.
As always, our focus remains on helping organisations meet security requirements pragmatically, reduce risk where it matters, and avoid treating assurance frameworks as paperwork exercises.
