What is the MSP 501?

The MSP 501 is a global ranking of managed service providers produced by Channel Partners. It assesses providers using business and operational measures including maturity, recurring-revenue strength, innovation, sustained growth and long-term viability.

Technology providers are expected to do far more than respond when something breaks. Clients increasingly need support across cyber security, AI, Microsoft 365, cloud, compliance, resilience and technology strategy. The MSP 501 recognises providers that continue developing their operations around those changing requirements.

Global industry benchmark Operational maturity matters as much as technical capability.

The assessment considers whether an MSP has the structure, investment and sustainability to keep delivering as client needs and technology change.

Why does MSP 501 recognition matter to clients?

An industry ranking should never replace proper supplier due diligence. It can, however, provide an additional signal that a provider is investing in the operational foundations required to support clients consistently and evolve its services over time.

Operational maturity

Strong managed services depend on repeatable processes, clear ownership and disciplined delivery.

Long-term sustainability

Clients need a partner able to continue investing, improving and supporting future priorities.

Service development

The ranking recognises providers responding to changing needs across security, cloud, AI and resilience.

Consistent recognition

Ten appearances provide a broader signal than one strong result viewed in isolation.

A decade of recognition through a changing technology landscape.

This year's result is Fifosys' tenth appearance in the MSP 501 and its sixth consecutive year among the UK's top 10. During that time, the responsibilities placed on IT partners have continued to expand.

Cyber threats have become more sophisticated, AI is reshaping how people work, compliance expectations are increasing and businesses rely more heavily on technology for everyday operations and growth. Against that changing backdrop, our focus remains consistent: helping organisations build secure, resilient and well-managed IT environments so their own teams can focus on the business.

“Reliable IT rarely attracts attention when everything is working as it should.”

We will continue investing in our people, strengthening our services and helping organisations make practical technology decisions that improve security, productivity and resilience. Thank you to our clients, partners and every member of the Fifosys team for the trust and work behind this recognition.
